Welcome! First blog post ever right here… We’re making history people! Allow myself to introduce… myself. My name is Elizabeth and I’m your new go-to-girl for everything beauty. Hair, skin, nails, makeup, health - You want it, I’ve got it! I welcome any and all posts, requests, and chatter from my followers, but lemme be real - I’ll give it to you straight like your best girlfriend would, ’cause that’s when the best decisions are made. Psychotherapy + Beauty = Transformation! So enough with the intros… Let’s talk hair.
Mmmm… That long, luscious mane. Or maybe (for some of you), Ughhhhh… That old, dusty wig. Either way, let’s get to the root of the problem. Healthy hair makes a world of difference when it comes to updating your overall look. The best place to start is to get silky, shiny hair that moves. Got that Jersey Girls?
For those on a budget, start by going to your nearest grocery store and picking up a bottle of Aussie Three Minute Miracle Deeeeep Conditioner. After shampooing, coat hair with a super thick layer of T.M.M. Wrap in a towel and grab a good book or magazine. I like to leave this stuff in for two hours so it can really go to work. When time’s up rinse it out and - Voila! Hair that’s soft and smooth as butta.
For those with a little more to spend try my favorite: Kerastase Masque Oleo-Relax. Same routine with this one as above. The smell is amazing and this might be the drug-addict equivalent of crack. Hair crack perhaps. My mom uses a product that she only knows as “hair crack.” She honestly can’t tell you the real name or even come close. She described it to a co-worker as “Some kind of Jamaican oil.” Hmmm. But that’s a story for another blog. For now, slip your tresses into something a little more comfortable, and call me in the morning.
