Would You Wear Mermaid Hair?

So, Proenza Schouler’s Spring 2010 show was pretty awesome, and everyone has been talking about the hair as much as the clothing! The models rocked a beachy wave in their hair, and some of the girls had pastel colored locks.

Recently, Ashley Olsen was spotted with a somewhat toned-down version of the hair style, but I still love it! Try out the look for yourself!

While doing some searching online, I found that colored hair mascara is sort of hard to find anymore (R.I.P. 1990s). Instead, try mixing some crushed up eyeshadow with a clear hair gel. According to this article on WikiHow, the darker your hair is, the lighter the shadow color should be!

Grab a clean mascara brush (you can get them at beauty supply stores!) and highlight random strands with color! Let it dry before you brush it out a little so that it doesn’t look too chunky. I recommend leaving the top layer of hair alone so that you don’t see where the roots are. Another option is clip in hair extensions which can be purchased as expensively or as cheaply as you wish.
