I have something you’re gonna like….

Today’s pick: Nars Blush in Orgasm. Now don’t get too excited - we’re talkin names of products here, not actions. I’m only a miracle worker in the beauty department. I’ve been using this blush for 3 years now and I’m in love. Coincidence it’s called orgasm? I think not.

This color works great on any skin tone, and it’s totally buildable. When we say a blush is buildable, it means you can make the color as light or as dark as you want to, building up to the shade you want. You cannot mess this up! Start out with a light dusting to give yourself a hint of color - this blush actually doubles as a bronzer in winter. It will give you a warm and cozy feel, without the overbearing orange or brown that a true bronzer sometimes will.

If you want a medium or full color cheek, sweep the color from the apple of your cheek up to your temple and back, repeating this motion until you get the level of color you desire. I love when my blush gives the subtle impression that I just walked inside after being out in the cold. Notice I said subtle. Be careful not to leave the house looking like you just stepped off Discovery’s Deadliest Catch and out of a deep arctic freeze. There’s a difference.
