I’m always searching for natural and cruelty-free cosmetics. I like to know what’s in the products I’m putting on my face and body the same way I like to know the ingredients in the food that I eat.

Recently a friend of a friend opened up an all natural and cruelty free beauty store in my hometown, called Exposed Organics, and I couldn’t be more excited. Many of the products are vegan, and she even has her own line of mineral makeup in addition to the bath and body products. My favorite product so far is Plain Jane, an oil cleanser. Plain jane gently draws out toxins and dirt and works great for getting rid of acne and dry skin. It comes in a variety for people with different skin types: acne prone skin, combination and sensitive skin, dry skin, and oily skin. I now swear by it.
