By now, you must have heard that Tim Burton is releasing an Alice in Wonderland film this spring (check out the trailer below!). The film has certainly received a lot of hype so far, and it stars Tim Burton’s favorite actor, Johnny Depp, as the Mad Hatter. I wouldn’t recommend trying to get Johnny’s makeup look from this movie, but a few beauty companies are celebrating the film with limited-edition collections.

Urban Decay is releasing a special Alice in Wonderland Book of Shadows on Monday, December 28th at Sephora stores. The palette looks really cute with 16 eyeshadows, two eyeliner pencils, and a travel-sized Primer Potion. Not only does this come with the makeup, but when you open the top of the palette there is a little pop-up scene of Alice that reminds me of books that I used to have as a kid!

If that wasn’t exciting enough, OPI will also be releasing a new collection of nail polishes that are Alice-inspired. The names of the colors will be: Absolutely Alice, Mad as a Hatter, Thanks So Muchness! and Off with Her Red. I have to be honest, I’m not really crazy over the color selection (two shades of red in one collection seems a little overkill). They will be available in January 2010. Anything tickle your fancy?
