Problem skin? There’s nothing worse than having skin that always feels oily. Unless it’s breaking out non-stop. Speaking as someone who never really grew out getting those problem pimples, I’ve tried pretty much everything when it comes to face wash, and while some cleared up my skin for a short while, none were reliable in the long-run. Until I discovered Neutrogena Clear Pore Cleanser/Mask.
The product can either be used as a cleanser or a mask; leaving it up to you to decide what’s best for your skin. I use it as a mask two times a day and it has never left my skin feeling overly dry, which is a complete miracle when it comes to my skin. I simply spread a thin layer of the cleanser on my face and leave it on while I brush and floss my teeth. The mask starts to harden and you can feel it getting a little bit tingly. After about 5 or so minutes, I rinse the mask off my face. I repeat morning and night and have rarely gotten any zits since I started using it.
The active ingredient in the Neutrogena Clear Pore Cleanser/Mask is benzoyl peroxide, which tends to be a bit gentler on skin than other ingredients. If you do find that your face is drying out, you can use the face wash as a simple cleanser instead of applying it as a mask.
I’ve been using the mask for a couple years now, and am thrilled to report it works just as well today as it did the day I started using it. After a long search for the perfect face wash, I was pretty surprised that I found it in something as simple as Neutrogena, but also pretty excited, especially since it retails for $7.99 on Drugstore.com. Don’t you just love finding a product that solves a major beauty dilemma? If you’ve been looking everywhere for a solution to breakouts, give the Neutrogena Clear Pore Cleanser/Mask a try!
