A few years ago, my younger sister went to Greece during her summer vacation. When she came back, she had all kinds of fun stuff to share: A flowy, printed cotton skirt (that I imagine I would have looked divine in whether sitting by the clear-blue ocean or jumping on the back of a vespa. Or, in reality, sitting in my cubicle), a strong bottle of the anise-scented ouzo that Greece is famous for, and a freshly-packaged bottle of body lotion made with natural fruits and oils. According to my sister, the lotions and other skincare products were made in the store in vats with fresh ingredients. The lotion was so moisturizing, and it smelled delicious!

One of Greece’s best natural brands is (thankfully) available in the U.S.! Korres is easily one of my favorite lines out there, and it is a great choice for anyone who wants to use natural, eco-friendly products. Two of my favorite products are the Watermelon Sunscreen and the Bronzing Powder. The sunscreen is for your face, and it doesn’t make my usually sensitive skin break out! It also smells fruity, which is a big plus! I have a really hard time with bronzers — I’m so pale, and they usually look orange and fake on me. This one is a keeper though! It is lightly shimmery and truly “bronze”, not orange.

Korres products are a little expensive, but you can get great deals if you buy their gift sets. A lot of good ones tend to come out over the summer, but they are still available online. I’d recommend the Bronze and Protect Trio for anyone looking to try a great tinted moisturizer and the bronzer, or the Summer Essentials set for those going on vacation somewhere warm!
