Lash Growth Make-Up
With celebs like Brooke Shields preaching the benefits of longer and stronger lashes via products like Latisse, the idea of spider-like lashes is no longer a distant dream for many. There are now serums, lash treatments and moisturizing mascaras (like those from DiorShow) that offer the chance to have va-va voom lashes even if you weren’t born with them.

Gel Nails
A big trend in Japan, where many women strive for unusually artsy nails, gel manicures are gaining momentum in the states. They don’t require buffing and won’t harm nails like acrylics. With less than a minute required for drying time, and tons of colors to choose from, gel nails are likely to stick.

Etc.
Other beauty innovations and products that populated the shelves and empowered gorgeous girls across the globe in 2009 included mineral make-up, keratin hair treatments, vibrating mascaras, and botox for migraines.
