To kick off our special dating series, I’m going to cut right to the chase: a girl needs to be careful when choosing her date-night beauty products. Nothing can ruin a great conversation better than when your lipstick decides to make an appearance on your teeth, or if your date is too busy looking at his reflection in your shiny forehead to respond to your questions. Then there is, of course, the danger of smudging your gloss during that end-of-the-night kiss. Here are three secret weapons to prevent makeup mishaps! More »

From Ningin: As part of the ongoing preview on CrazySingleLife, we’re going to introduce some of the dating stars before the site launches. Each dater on CSL will have an alias derived from a color. They also have to write two posts before they start dating, an introduction post and a Mr./Mrs. Right post. The introduction post is meant as a description of themselves, but not like height, age, occupation. It’s more a window into their soul and the journey that their heart has been on. The second post is an open letter to the future Mr./Mrs. Right so that he or she will know to come calling on our daters.

The following except is from the introductory letter of Steel, one of the two male bloggers for CSL. On Monday, you met Tenne, yesterday you met Cerulean and tomorrow you’ll meet them all. Enjoy! More »

Here’s our advice: More »

I’m always searching for natural and cruelty-free cosmetics. I like to know what’s in the products I’m putting on my face and body the same way I like to know the ingredients in the food that I eat.

Recently a friend of a friend opened up an all natural and cruelty free beauty store in my hometown, called Exposed Organics, and I couldn’t be more excited. Many of the products are vegan, and she even has her own line of mineral makeup in addition to the bath and body products. More »

I know we live in an age of fast and faster with high speed internet, email on our phones, and drive-through everything, but I was still a little surprised when I heard about Sephora vending machines. Could there be a faster way to buy your favorite products? I think not. More »
