When we talk extreme beauty, we don’t necessarily mean botox and plastic surgery. For the majority of us without the luxury of easily-disposable income, the idea of throwing down $1,000 on one small jar of beauty cream can be seen as extreme. Shockingly in Japan, there are at least 3 cosmetics brands that offer beauty creams that cost an upwards of $1,000: Shiseido, Kao, and Kose.

Currently in the US, only one brand can join this club of over-priced beauty cream cosmetics brands. Cle de Peau’s Synactif cream retails at exactly $1,000. I don’t know about you, but if I were to throw down that much money on beauty cream, it’d better guarantee that I become the next Loreal spokesperson.
