But whatever your preference, blush should be fun and functional. You should always choose a color that compliments your complexion. Additionally, the color should emphasize your desired cheekbone structure and the result you are looking for.
For instance, if you want your cheeks to look less contoured and defined, a natural flush color is perfect. Apply a rose tone or light pink to the apples of your cheeks. Even better is a cheek tint — it will give you a natural pinched cheek look, like Jeff suggested, but is perfect for those of us who can’t subject ourselves to pain in the name of beauty.
