I could open this post with something cute like, “Ever wanted to see what you’d look like with a smaller nose? There’s an app for that!”, but I won’t because there is nothing cute about this iPhone application. In fact, it sort of borders on insanity. iSurgeon allows you to take photos of yourself, family and friends and then alter your image to see what you’d look like with plastic surgery! Nice!

You can choose from four procedures: tummy tuck, nose job, breast augmentation or gluteal augmentation (aka butt lift). Take a look at the video demonstration (and hear the disgustingly realistic sound effects) of the application after the cut.

The application was created by Dr. Salzhauer, a certified plastic surgeon, and costs $1.99 in the iTunes application store. Some of the comments on the application are interesting, such as:
K1480 — “Looooove this ap! Me and my friends are having so much w this. Also got me saving up for my plastic surgery”

And my personal favorite:
TimmyG8 — “So I’m uploading photos of my ex-girlfriends and enlarging their boobs. If they saw this comment I’m sure I would be told to enlarge something else lol”

How do you feel about a plastic surgery iPhone app? Is it all a big joke, or do you think people will actually use this to prep themselves for seeking out actual plastic surgery?
