This week, it was announced that Le Métier de Beauté, an exclusive makeup line sold at Bergdorf Goodman’s, would be taking the reins from NARS for the Marchesa Fall 2010 show next month. Along with that news came some even more exciting news about a collaboration: Marchesa designer Georgina Chapman will be designing a palette with LMDB that will be released in 2011!

We all love a good collaboration, don’t we? I especially love them when they make normally expensive brands more affordable (Designer for Target!), and makeup is definitely the more affordable portion of any designer look. I’m hoping that this collaboration is like the clothing line: girly and sexy while still maintaining sophistication. And some ostrich feathers on the packaging might not hurt since I often find myself lusting after the feathered skirts that Marchesa creates! If only I could afford one…
