Yesterday, I wrote about my top 3 nominees for red carpet beauty. Last night has come and gone, and the Golden Globe results are in: both winners of the awards and winning red carpet looks! Host Ricky Gervais quipped in his opening comments that he was glad to see all of the beautiful cosmetically-altered Hollywood faces in the audience. Good one, Ricky, but there were definitely some real beauty standouts that I spotted!

Wow!

Emily Blunt looked regal as the Queen in The Young Elizabeth, and she looked lovely last night at the awards, even though she didn’t win. She wore pale makeup with her pretty dark hair down.

Tina Fey is a favorite of mine because not only is she funny, but she is also an intelligent lady! She looked really nice last night with bright red lips and her signature frames.

Anna Kendrick’s look was soft and feminine to match her beautiful, floaty gown! I love that her makeup is natural with a little bit of a smokey eye, and her hair falls beautifully around her face.

Whaaaaat??

Jennifer Garner had some seriously weird foofy hair going on. Almost like an 80s fluffy bang. The rest of her look was really polished and lovely, but I couldn’t stop looking at the poof.

Cameron Diaz’s look is getting a little old and tired, in my opinion. I feel like I always see her in a red dress with red lipstick — change it up! Do something different!

Lauren Graham shouldn’t have matched her lipstick to her dress color. The dress was pretty, but a more understated lip would have made this look more sophisticated in my eyes.
