I’m obsessed with things that look beautiful from the inside out, and it definitely shows in my bathroom. Even though I have too much makeup and hair products, I still organize them in stylish trays, baskets and bags. Not only does this make my life simple when I’m looking for my products, it also just makes me feel good to have adorable makeup bags to stash in my purse or take on trips.
Recently, Alicia Silverstone partnered with EcoTools and launched eco-friendly cosmetic brushes and totes. You can purchase these items at Target or Walgreens, and they are made from natural hemp and recycled PET. Choosing sustainable makeup bags is one way you can help the planet, and it will also enable you to keep track of your goodies.
I store most of my makeup in a case, but I have the items that I use on a daily basis in a smaller cosmetic bag that can fit into my purse. If you’re a makeup fanatic like me, you probably have more makeup than you know what to do with. Instead of stashing eyeshadows, blushes, etc. in a closet where I’ll forget about them, I have them organized right where I can reach them in the bathroom. I might not use my liquid eyeliner or glimmer shadows every day, but I know where they are for special occasions so they don’t go to waste.
