Sunday is probably my favorite day of the week, mainly because I usually don’t have to do much of anything. I find that Sunday is often the best day to indulge in a little bit of self-pampering, but I can’t really afford to be running off to a spa all the time (or ever, really). I present to you my top three little beauty indulgences that you can try at home!

1. Warm Hand Mitts — If your hands are feeling dry and raw right now, try popping on a pair of warm mitts for a few minutes. I like Bath and Body Works True Blue Spa Self-Heating Mitts, which heat up when you add water, but they seem to be discontinued. You could try to find a box on eBay, or try an alternative like Meltology Self-Heating Spa Mitts. The best part? You won’t be able to use your hands for anything, so you have to sit and do nothing for at least a few minutes!

2. Extra Moisturizer — If you have some extra time to sit around in your bathrobe, why not take the time to use a deeper moisturizer after you get out of the shower? I like to use the LUSH Massage Bar in Soft Coeur. In addition to being used as a massage bar, you can use it to moisturize your legs. I wouldn’t use this on a normal day because you have to let it sink into your skin for a while before you put your clothes on, but if you have the time it is well worth the wait!

3. Refreshing Eye Treatment — Want to de-stress and de-puff your eyes? Try this quick at-home treatment: Soak two flat cotton rounds in rosewater. Wring them out and pop them in the fridge until they get cold. Then, lay down and place them over your eyes while you relax (possibly while you warm up your hands with the mitts?), and let the soothing properties of the rosewater work its magic! You can find rosewater at the pharmacy or at specialty food stores, as it is sometimes used as a cooking ingredient.
