Demeter Fragrance Cocktail Scents

I’m not exactly sure how long Demeter Fragrances has been around, but it has definitely been a while. I remember being in junior high and sampling every Demeter spray in the collection pretty much every time that I went to the mall (yep, I even loved beauty back then!). They’ve always had some pretty off-the-wall scents, but most of them are shockingly accurate. I remember one of my favorites was Tomato, because it absolutely smelled like the tomato plants my mom grew in her garden.

I also recall loving the Sex on the Beach scent, although at the time I thought it was just a funny name and not a drink. Demeter has a whole line of cocktail-inspired scents that are definitely worth checking out!

Sex on the Beach is just as you would expect — slightly fruity with a little bit of cranberry bitterness. Another favorite of mine was Fuzzy Navel, the Peach Schnapps-based cocktail. It smells so much like the real thing!If you’re not the girly cocktail type, you can also try Gin & Tonic.

An important thing to remember about Demeter scents is that they don’t last long. They are labeled as “pick-me-up cologne sprays” rather than “eau de toilette”, and aren’t meant to be worn as an all-day scent. They are great to spray on for a mid-day booster — just be careful when spraying the Happy Hour Collection at work, because you wouldn’t want to be accused of drinking on the job!
