Ulta to Launch Bargain Beauty Line, Essence

Ulta is one of my very favorite shops to turn to when I’m looking to purchase some new beauty supplies, and now they’ve just announced they’re coming out with a new line of bargain products. And by bargain, I mean the average price of the items will be $2!

The new bargain Ulta line is called Essence and it’s been in Germany since 2001. In fact, it’s been so popular in Germany that 1 in every 5 beauty products sold is Essence. So, it must be pretty awesome!

The products look super girly and fun and range from eye shadows to lip glosses to nail polish, blush, and concealer- basically any type of makeup you could ask for! According to a spokesperson from the company, “Products are fancy, fun and high quality. They are perfect for anyone looking to try something new.”

The average price of the Essence products is $2, which means some of the products will likely be $1 and it’s being said that the most expensive product will be the Essence mousse foundation, which will cost $4.99. That’s amazing!

Sometimes super cheap bargain products don’t do their job right, but if the Essence coming to America is similar to the Essence in Europe, it sounds like it will be pretty great. It likely won’t substitute all our favorite beauty products, but to try out some fun, new stuff on the cheap, it’s definitely going to be a winner of a deal.

Essence will be launched in April and I’ll be trying tons of it and reporting back as soon as it’s available.
