I just read that world-renowned makeup artist, Trish McEvoy, will appear on an episode of Gossip Girl after the season (finally) resumes on March 8th. She’ll be appearing as herself, doing makeup backstage at Eleanor Waldorf’s fashion show.
Speaking of Waldorf Designs, did you know that Abigail Lorick, a New York-based designer, provides all of the designs in Blair’s mom’s collections on the show? I have yet to make a Lorick purchase because she is a little out of my price range, but everything I’ve tried on from her line makes me feel amazing! Lorick definitely has a little bit of a retro feel in the design, and she always uses such amazing fabrics and patterns! Check out these looks from her Spring 2010 Collection!
This dress is so sweet and feminine, and I can totally see it being worn at a Spring picnic!
I want this dress! I’ve been keeping my eyes open for a perfect white dress for the Spring and Summer, and this is just what I’m looking for — elegant enough for a fancy event, but carefree enough for a casual affair too.
The pink and blue marbled pattern on this strapless dress is so pretty! The look is really effortless, pulled together with the jacket, a simple necklace, and an amazing pair of open-toe lace-up shoes!
