Bare Escentuals Buxom Lash Mascara

I have used three different mascaras from Bare Escentuals (BE), and I have to say that the Buxom Lash Mascara is my favorite. The Big Tease Mascara has a unique brush that separates the lashes from the root to the tip, and the Weather Everything Waterproof Mascara does stay put. However, the hourglass shaped brush on the Buxom Lash Mascara is the best when it comes to application.

Because of the curvy hourglass shape, I don’t even curl my lashes anymore before applying my mascara. Usually I apply one coat to my lashes and slowly spin the brush as I move from the roots to the tips of my lashes. For more drama, I apply a second coat and focus on my outer lashes. My lashes are not as thick as they used to be, but this mascara really lengthens and thickens them. According to BE’s product description, “It intensely volumizes lashes up to 300%,” and I can’t agree more.

Another reason why I’ve stuck with BE mascara is because they are formulated without parabens, sulfates, synthetic fragrances, synthetic dyes and phthalates, which are ingredients that I don’t want near my eyes. You can purchase this mascara in Blackest Black or now Blue Noir only at Sephora.
