Jennifer Hudson looked drop dead gorgeous at The 2010 Grammy Awards in a black Victoria Beckham dress and like always her makeup was flawless. Every time she walks down the red carpet, she has everyone wondering, “how can we get this look?”

Her beauty signature is consistently elegant, although she is not afraid to mix things up with some colors.

How to get this look:

EYES:

Start off with a pale shimmery base eyeshadow, the color can be a buttery gold, a shimmery sand or beige shade.

Pack the eyeshadow over the lower lids using a medium size flat eyeshadow brush. Focus on applying strong amounts of the pale color just on the eyelids.

The next step is to blend in the crease or contour color. On Jennifer’s darker skin, she’s using a chocolate brown eyeshadow in a satin or matte finish. For light - medium skin tones use a nude, taupe brown or beige brown satin or matte finish eyeshadow to create the same second skin look. Using a crease eyeshadow, sweep the color back and fourth in crease until the color is blended in evenly.

Now you’re ready to line the eyes. Using either a black cream eyeliner or liquid liner, start with outer corners, gradually working the liner into the inner corner of the eyes. Repeat the process with the lower eyeliner. Complete the eyes with a pair of half-winged lashes that flair out just on the outer corners of the eyes.

CHEEKS:

Jennifer has a rosy pink/plum blush on. The concentration of color is mainly in the apples of the cheeks, creating a freshly flushed look, instead of a well-defined cheekbone. If you have fair to medium skin, using a pale rosy pink shade will best re-create this look.

LIPS:

The lipstick shade Jennifer is wearing is a beautiful pink satin color with a small amount of clear lip gloss to pop the color off. The lip liner seems to be a neutral color as well, so stay away from liners that are darker then the lipstick shade for this particular look.
