When my hair was longer, I loved using my triple barrel waver to mix up my styles. I never knew these existed until I was perusing my local beauty supply store. When it comes to hair, I like to change it up regularly whether it’s with my style, color or length. A three-barrel waver can give you waves reminiscent of the 1940s, and it’s a quick way to shake up your style.

This Revlon 3-Barrel Jumbo Waver is only $25.26 so you don’t have to break the piggy bank to afford one. I haven’t tried my waver since my hair is now short and stacked in the back, but it can look chic and sophisticated on shorter hair cuts too.

Here is an easy how to video for using this type of iron. The following are the most important things to remember:

  • Use a thermal curling spray.
  • Separate your hair in small sections.
  • Bring the iron down the hair to the beginning of the next wave and continue down to the end of your hair.

    I finally tested my three barrel waver on my short hair, and it didn’t look so good. I think if my hair was short and one length instead of stacked in the back it would have looked better. However, personally I would probably only use this type of curling iron when my hair is a medium or longer length.

    i think it would look good on me bec my hair is longer lol
