How Do You Apply Your Makeup: Fingers or Brushes?

When I was in high school, my mom bought me a set of Sephora makeup brushes, and I had no idea what to do with them. Eventually, I learned what each brush was for and realized that they made my makeup look a lot better than it ever did before. Up until that point, I always used my fingers to apply.

I’m a strict brush-user now. In fact, I’m always looking for a new makeup brush to add to my collection and alter my look a little bit. Do you prefer to use brushes or to apply your makeup with your fingers?

Brush Pros:

– No getting your fingers messy!
– Precision application

Brush Cons:

– You have to clean them often to keep them nice

Finger Pros:

– Creativity! You can get a little messy
– You can sometimes blend blush a little better

Finger Cons:

– Your fingers get messy and your products have a better chance of growing bacteria. Yuck.
