MAC announced that they will release a new color collection called Riveting on February 18th! The collection is inspired by the glossy photos of “super–babes and rock chicks, edgy but never grungy.” There are some really great colors offered that could make anyone feel like a little bit more of a bad-ass.

Here are some of my favorites from the collection.

First are the lipsticks. I’d probably be most inclined to go with Bubbles, the pale color, but Orchid, the hot pink one, would be a lot of fun to play around with! I believe the model is wearing Metal Haven, a sort of outrageous frosted silver color. The dark color is called Riveting. The lipsticks retail for $14.

Also a part of this collection are three matte Nail Lacquers. I think that matte is perfect for this collection, because I see it often on cool rocker chicks like Karen O of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. The colors are Black Enough? (black), Studded (silver), and Wham, Bam, Glam (taupe). You’ll be able to pick these up for $12 each.

These products, as well as the rest of the collection, will be in stores and online only from February 18th until March, so make sure you get dibs on the colors you want!
