My hair is really light and fine and straight, which is wonderful because I’ve never even owned a straightener. I can easily pull off the sleek and glossy look with my hair, but when it comes to creating hairstyles that require bobby pins, I run into trouble. My hair is so fine that pins and clips usually just fall out of it. I got a tub of Sally Hershberger Wreck & Roll Texturizing Cream in a gift bag at an event last year, and my life has never been the same.
This texturizing cream does exactly what it says it will do: create great texture! All you do is take a dime-sized amount of product, rub it between your hands and run it through your hair. The directions say to use it on dry hair, but I use it while my hair is still wet sometimes too. The result is hair with slightly more body (this isn’t a volumizing product) and increased texture. Now the pins don’t fall out when I’m attempting an up-do! As an added bonus, this stuff smells incredible!
Oh, and for those worried about the product weighing your locks down, don’t. My hair is really finicky when it comes to product, and I have no problem with this one.
