Did you know that renown surrealist artist Salvador Dalí used to create perfumes during the 1940s and 1950s while he was involved in the fashion and advertising industries? They were released in limited quantities. However, his fragrance legacy still lives on through the company Les Parfums Salvador Dalí, created in 1983.

They will be releasing a new fragrance called Little Kiss Me–a musky fruity floral flanker for 2008’s Little Kiss–for their Spring/Summer 2010 collection. The fragrance includes ingredients such as nymphea, aquatic notes, grains of paradise, peony, magnolia, passion flower, with a hint of iris, woods, and musk.

In a press release, perfumer Céline Ellena stated that her inspiration behind the creation of Little Kiss Me was “to express the playful happiness that infects all women in summertime, tickling and titillating our senses in a deliciously mild effervescence.” The youthful spirit of femininity is also captured in the bottle’s design, with lips reminiscent of Dalí’s Mae West Lips Sofa.

Little Kiss Me will be released later this year in April.
