Ever have one of those mornings when you wake up a little late and don’t have time to shower? We’ve all been there at one point or another and for some of us, the oily hair we have by mid-day is a tell-tale sign of our rushed morning. Well, worry no longer, because you can always use a dry shampoo to make your hair look fresher than it really is!
Dry shampoos are usually sold as an aerosol, making them sort of environmentally unfriendly (I know, sad.), but they can do wonders on your oily strands! Just aim the can at your roots, spray, and fluff your hair. Some people even prefer to use them on normal days as an alternative to hair washing because they give hair a nice texture. Dry shampoos can be expensive, but they obviously shouldn’t be used every day, so they’ll last you a while.
A highly recommended one is Klorane’s Dry Shampoo with Oat Milk.
Another popular brand is the Ojon Rub-Out Dry Cleanser, which comes in a handy travel-sized version for when you need a touch up at the office!
If you have light blonde hair, here’s a cheaper way to achieve the same look: sprinkle baby powder in your hair and fluff it. The talc is an oil-absorber, so you’ll be left with voluminous, oil-free hair!
