NY Fashion Week Fall 2010 Beauty Trend: Red Lips

I’ve been hanging around the tents at Bryant Park for the last few days trying to get the scoop on the latest fashion and beauty trends for Fall 2010. On Thursday night, I watched the models at Farah Angsana (above) rock some seriously beautiful dresses, and some seriously bold lips. The girls wore dark, smokey eyes and some had these beautiful, full glossy red lips.

Red lips have also been spotted at (top) Vena Cava (bright red matte) and L.A.M.B. (deep burgundy). According to makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury, who used M.A.C cosmetics to create the look at L.A.M.B., “The feeling was 1930’s prostitute – trampy, smoky eye, deep “rougeoir” lips and beautiful pale skin.”

I’d say it’s time to find your color red, and get ready to be bold this fall!
