NY Fashion Week Beauty: Electric Eyes at Y-3

At the Y-3 runway show, the colors were overall pretty dark, but the eyes were electric! The models wore bright blue, green and purple cream eyeshadow all over the lid and winged out to the side.

I loved that the whole look was suggestive of a superhero, and designer Yohji Yamamoto showed a little bit of humor when he sent a few of the models down the runway with masks over their eyes! I might not rock the superhero mask, but I’m definitely feeling the addition of a little bit of color into my makeup this fall — who needs the typical drab fall colors anyway?
