I’ve never been able to achieve perfectly voluminous AND glossy hair. For me, it’s either voluminous and a little messy, or pin-straight and glossy, so I was happy to see that Thakoon chose the messy look for his Fall 2010 runway show this weekend!

According to Allure magazine’s beauty blog, hairstylist Eugene Souleiman created the look by curling and pinning up every other section of hair, leaving it with two distinct textures. The pins were taken out right before the show started, and he used talcum powder on the roots to give the hair more volume and intentional fly-aways!

Now this is look that I think I can handle! Are you comfortable with a little bit of static in the name of volume?
