WEN Hair Experiment, Day 7

I have to say that I’m totally loving my WEN hair products! I’ve been using them almost religiously…the few days that I went back to my Aveda products didn’t make me so happy. I immediately noticed that my hair wasn’t as bouncy or as soft. Below are some pictures (can you tell I like black and white?), which I think definitely show the positive change that the WEN lavender hair cleanser is having on my hair.

This is a before photo that I took before I went to a Christmas party in 2009. I took extra time to do my hair that night and really tried to tease it up. I had been using Aveda’s Color Conserve shampoo and conditioner for a while. To me, my hair looks thin and not very vibrant…I had recently had my hair colored too.

This first after photo showing how my hair looks just by using a blow dryer with a nozzle and a round brush. I’ve been using WEN for about 7 non-consecutive days, and my hair looks fuller and touchable.

This second after photo shows how my hair looks when I straighten it. Often I find it hard to keep the fullness when I use a straightener, but the WEN lavender styler and volumizing spray prevents my hair from going flat. I did tease the back a little bit to create a bump as well as some Sebastian hairspray. It’s been a few weeks since my hair has been dyed, but the red highlights are really showing through.
