Ombre Nails at Christian Cota

Models at the Christian Cota runway show on Tuesday got an awesome manicure from Dashing Diva salon — a blue ombre design. The nails matched the clothing perfectly, as some of the fabric used in the collection was hand painted as well!

The look seems simple enough to recreate, and it looks stunning! Patty Yankee, the manicurist, used Dashing Diva polish in Water Taxi for the light blue base, and then applied the royal purple, Ur Standing On My Dress to the cuticle area, creating the ombre effect!

I’m definitely going to try out this look at home, and probably with some different color combos! This would also look really cool in the spring with bright colors like hot pink and orange.
