LUSH Fresh Face Masks

I’m a self-proclaimed LUSH junkie, and one of my favorite product lines is the Fresh Face Masks. Like all products from LUSH, the masks are made from all natural ingredients, but these are so fresh that they need to be kept refrigerated!

My favorite mask is the Brazened Honey, which has ingredients like ground walnut shells, lime juice, eggs (hence, refrigeration), and of course honey. The really cool thing about the mask is that it also has spices like turmeric and cardamom, which actually makes it tingle when you apply it. You apply it and let it dry for a few minutes, and then rinse with warm water. My skin always feels amazing after I use it.

There are other great masks too, depending on your skin type — Love Lettuce works wonders for deep cleaning of oily skin, and Cupcake, a deliciously chocolate-scented mask, is great for heavy breakouts.

Unfortunately because of the perishable nature of the masks, you can only get them in a LUSH store and not on the website. You also have to use them up relatively quickly, as they expire after a few weeks.

As a bonus though, if you collect and clean out 5 of the black pots that the masks come in, most stores will trade you a free face mask in exchange for them! LUSH is all about being environmentally friendly, so they take the pots back to be recycled!
