Product Review: Sephora Lush Flush Lip and Cheek Stain

I was so excited when I found out that Sephora was letting us give away some great products from their line, but then I was bummed when I realized that I couldn’t test it. Today I gave in and went to Sephora to purchase my own Lush Flush Lip and Cheek Stain, and I’m so excited about it!

I have a tricky past with stains, because as soon as you put them on your face, they are there to stay, and most colors I’ve tried made me look like a three-year-old who just ate a cherry lollipop. Not so cute on a twenty-something-year-old. However, when I picked up the Lush Flush in Pinot, it was love. It leaves a sheer and lovely red tinge that you can easily leave at one coat or build for a more dramatic look.

I’ve always been a powder blush kind of girl, so I wasn’t really expecting to use this on my cheeks, but I really loved the results. It gives me a cute “I just went running in a field of sunflowers” flush — naturally and healthy without screaming “I’M WEARING BLUSH!”.
