Last year, VH1 announced that they would be launching a series with Jessica Simpson called The Price of Beauty. Even though I was thoroughly annoyed by Jessica’s last TV attempt on Newlyweds, I am actually really looking forward to this show! The premise of the series is that Jessica and her friends travel the world to discover what ‘beauty’ means in different cultures. Sounds interesting, right?

You can take a look at a trailer for the show on VH1’s blog. In the preview, you get to see a little bit of Jessica trying to be a runway model in Paris and learning about “fat” beauty in Uganda. It could just be my travel bug talking, but I think that I could actually learn something from this show!

The Price of Beauty premieres on VH1 on Monday, March 15th at 10pm EST.
