For the most part, I don’t really wear too much makeup, but there are occasions when I want to get all dolled up. Although the ideal situation is to be putting your makeup on at home in your bathroom where all of your supplies are, it doesn’t always happen this way, especially when things come up. Instead of getting caught with a naked face, diversify your beauty supplies.
In addition to your bathroom, you can keep extra makeup kits in your purse or car. I’ve tried to pare down my makeup so that it fits into two small bags, and I take what I think I’ll need if I’m visiting friends out of town or if I just want to ensure that my makeup stays perfect all night. In my car, I keep some essentials such as hand sanitizer, deodorant and lipstick. I never thought of keeping deodorant in my car, but after I was rushing to work one morning, I forgot to put some on and that was a mistake I never want to make again!
