James Franco Does Gucci Again

Everyone can sigh a sigh of relief now, because the new James Franco for Gucci Cologne ad is officially out! Phew!! Take a look at what they’ve given us this time!

It seems as though they’ve put our favorite fragrance face in white jeans and a dark t-shirt and thrown him into the ocean! Good thing that he has enough upper body definition to impress us through that wet t-shirt!

According to an interview in WWD, Gucci’s creative director, Frida Giannini, thinks that the ad embodies a “casual, modern and masculine air.”

Now, I don’t know if I would consider a hot boy in a wet t-shirt to be casual, and the tightness of said garments don’t scream “masculine” either, but hey, I’ll buy it. The ad, that is, not the cologne. Although I’m sure that it’s nice too.
