I had the chance to try The Socializer Eye Treatment by Elizabeth Grant, and I might be a changed woman now — at least regarding eye cream. One of my big gripes about eye cream is that you have to use such a small amount under your eyes, but dipping my fingers into a jar or squeezing it out of a tube always ends up being a mess. I always feel like I waste it. I love the fact that these creams come packaged in a little compact click pen! You just click the end of it a few times until a little bit of the product comes out onto the brush, sweep it under your eyes and you are good to go!
The Socializer is actually a set that comes with two products — Bright Lights and Late Nights, a day cream and a night cream. I really got to put this to the test the other day when I stayed up working on a project until 2am, and had to wake up at 6am the next day. Oh well for beauty sleep! Late Nights feels really soothing and a little bit cooling when you put it on, which was nice before bed. Bright Lights was a lifesaver the next morning when I had to be up and (looking) alert. It has luminizing ingredients in it, like mica, that gave my dark circles a little pick-me-up.
I’ll admit that I was intrigued by this product when I found out that Blake Lively was a fan of it — that girl always looks bright-eyed and fresh, doesn’t she? Now I know her secret!
The pens also come in a cardboard tube that is cute enough to keep on your dresser for storage. My only suggestion would be to store the pens upside-down in the tube so that you don’t have to click so many times to get the product into the brush when you need it!
The Socializer set is $40 and can be purchased online through Elizabeth Grant.
