Influential international make-up artist, Pat McGrath collaborated with free loving Bohemian designer Anna Sui for her Fall 2010 show at Fashion Week.
The hair and make-up style was simple and soft. Pat McGrath created softness around the eyes and contrasted the muted brown tones with a custom created eggplant lip.
To get this look you need a taupe or chocolate brown type satin eyeshadow, black mascara, brown eyeliner kohl and a sheer berry or eggplant toned lipstick.
How to get this look:
As always, start by prepping and priming the skin, eyes and lips. Sweep the face with a pressed or loose powder for a clean sheer finish to the complexion.
The cheeks was not the focus of this look, but in order to get that same fresh face look, use a pale rose toned blush, just on the apples of cheeks.
Apply the eyeshadow in the lids and bring the color just up to meet the middle of the crease. Use a loose crease brush to blend and soften a small even amount of color. Take the brown eye kohl and rim line both the top and bottom eye line. For that soft smokey finish, smudge the eye kohl after application.
Apply the mascara on just the top lashes for that heavier on top look to the eyes.
The lip shade on the models at the show was custom created by Pat; however try using a sheer to medium sheer eggplant or mauve shade.
