When I was a kid, my cousin and I had a babysitter who had mood lipstick. We would beg her to let us try it because we thought it was the coolest thing ever! Thinking back on it now, the idea of mood lipstick seems silly — why wouldn’t you want control over what color your lips are? Apparently Too Faced still thinks it’s a great idea, because they just released Mood Swing, a lip gloss that changes color with your mood.

According to Too Faced, the gloss is “Emotionally-activated.” I would imagine that this probably means that it is heat-activated, changing colors when your body gets warmer or colder. A British report attributes the color change to your sexual mood and calls it “the ultimate date ice-breaker.” I’m not too sure about that one, but believe what you will!
