Pantene has been around… forever, it seems. While it isn’t my shampoo of choice, I’ve used it before and don’t have complaints about it — it smells good, cleans up my hair, and conditions it well! Obviously the brand wouldn’t have made it this far without a solid product, but pretty soon Pantene is going to change and become, as Proctor & Gamble hopes, even better!

In a USA Today article about P&G’s CEO, Bob McDonald, he talks about the updates that the company is making to Pantene. According to him, the packaging, advertising, and formula of the hair products will change! Pictures have already surfaced of the new bottles, and BellaSugar reported that the products will be arranged by hair type on store shelves, rather than by product type. McDonald says in the article that there will be 14 new ingredients in Pantene when this makeover takes place!

Are you a Pantene user? How do you feel about the product formula changing? Is is long overdue, or should they not try to fix what isn’t broken?

I think it is a good idea to change the formula since it could help for the better^.^
