Chanel seems to have a hard time striking out with, uh, anything. Especially when it comes to nail polish! Starting on April 1st, you’ll be able to get your hands on the new Paris-Shanghai makeup collection, which includes yet another lust-worthy nail color: Illusion D’or.

The color is a light, shimmery gold and I think it looks amazing with the black matte French tip (another color in this line — Black Velvet!). Today I did a little experiment with some gold nail polish and a black Sharpie marker, but I would definitely not recommend this! It seemed like a great idea until my opposite hand ended up with black squiggles instead of lines! Guess I’ll just have to wait a few more days to get the real thing!
