Japan Fashion Week is underway, and already there have been some crazy looks down the runway. During Keiichi Muramatsu’s Everlasting Sprout Fall presentation, the models wore these amazing headpieces, seemingly made out of hair!

The collection is called “Restaurant Wildcat House”, and the designer has a funny little poem about it on his website that has been translated into English. I would guess that the theme has something to do with the hair masks.

I’m sure that the girls could see out of the eyes a little bit at least — it looks like the hair is less thick around that area. Some of the cat masks had big, Hello Kitty-esque bows on top, and some were just plain. Even though they are sort of strange, I think they are sort of sexy in a mysterious, Cat Woman way!
