When news of the MAC Lady Gaga Viva Glam VII lipstick broke out, I was all over it. I’m usually skeptical about lipstick shades marketed with a light-skinned celebrity, but that didn’t stop me either. The fact that this shade quickly sold out everywhere didn’t stop me. I’m something of a rabid Lady Gaga fan. Last week, I was lucky enough to get my hands on the Lady Gaga lipstick, and it did not disappoint!

What I love most about this is that it’s got Lady Gaga’s autograph printed on it! It’s the close thing I’ll ever get to an actual autograph.

The shade isn’t actually too much of a big difference from my natural lip color. What the pictures don’t show is that the shade is a blue-based pink. If you’ve got tanned skin like me, you can settle on this shade being your pink shade of the season as it’s not too bright. As for coverage duration, I wouldn’t expect much. In my experience, MAC lipsticks don’t wear quite as long as Lipstick Queen. On the plus side, it is endorsed by Lady Gaga (plus for Gaga fans, haha) and it’s a Viva Glam shade. Proceeds for Viva Glam shades go to the MAC AIDs charity.
