The nice people over at Kiss sent me some samples of their upcoming line of nail products for spring, and I’ve been having a lot of fun playing around with them! Now, let me just say that I am no artist (not by a long stretch), but I’ve been using the Nail Artist Kit to put a little bit of design on my fingers!
The kits come with three colors of nail paint. Mine has black, white and silver glitter! Instead of a traditional nail brush, these come with a super-thin brush that you can use to draw lines with. This week, I started with a nude nail polish and then drew black and silver stripes across my thumbnails. It was a quick and easy way to create an accent nail, and I’ve had so many compliments on them!
The kits also come with 30 stencils that you can use with the paint. The stencils are on stickers that are reusable as far as I can tell (mine stuck down to my nails more than once!). I honestly don’t see myself using them on a regular basis — I’m just not a stencil girl I guess. They are really easy to use though. Just stick them down, paint in the colors where you want them, let it dry for a few minutes and then take the sticker off! All of the paints are really fast-drying too, which is good news for an impatient girl like me!
The kits are only $6.99 at the drugstore, or you can buy individual colors for $2.99 each. I’m thinking of picking up one in hot pink to use with the black and silver! If you think you can manage drawing a few curvy lines across your fingers, I’d recommend picking up a kit to play with at home! You’ll save a ton on the nail salon!
