I have been on a beauty DIY kick these last few days. I came across something that might be of interest to those who drink tea. Apparently, tea can be used to heal and treat a whole host of beauty problems. Not much of a surprise to me considering all the praise green tea, white tea and black tea get for its amazing health benefits.

Did you know tea could heal sunburn, minor cuts, puffy eyes, acne, tired feet and much more?

Check out these cool homemade remedies HERE.

One of the easiest beauty remedies to try is the one below for treatment of tired, puffy eyes. (Note to self, pack one box of tea in my makeup kit, you never know who may need it.)

Prep Work:
Brew 1/2 cup of unscented black or green tea (leaves or bags) in 1 quart of boiling water for at least 10 minutes. Strain the leaves and set aside. Cool the liquid and refrigerate. This solution will keep in the refrigerator for approximately 10 days.

For Puffy Eyes:
Soak cotton balls in the cold tea and lay them on your eyes. Keep the pads on your lids for about 10 minutes. You can also refrigerate your used tea bags and lay them on your eyes.
