The latest beauty product to hit the eco-friendly craze seems to be nail polish! Remember when you were a kid and you peeled off your nail polish almost as soon as it dried? Well peel-off polish is sort of trendy among the environmentally-friendly crowd lately, so why not re-live those days?

Brands like Sula and Priti have created polishes that are water-based rather than chemical, and they peel easily off of the nail so that there is no need for the harsh chemicals in nail polish remover. According to many reviews that I’ve seen, the polish does actually stay put until you want to remove it by peeling it back.

Many of the polishes that I own already will peel back if I’ve used a base coat underneath them, but I think that these eco polishes come off in a rubbery sheet instead of in pieces. I like the idea, but I’d still be skeptical about the wear-time on these polishes. What do you think?
