Hoda and Kathie Lee’s No Makeup Day

Here we go again with this makeup-free trend! Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford of the TODAY Show decided to make this past Thursday a makeup-free show. Kathie Lee wanted to do this in response to a comment that Rosie O’Donnell made about suspecting that she had work done on her face.

It was actually really nice to see them without makeup! It makes you realize just how skewed our perspectives of how women are “supposed” to look is. If you watch the video, you’ll see that they were able to catch the other women of NBC without makeup on as well. I’m stunned at how amazing Natalie Morales looks without makeup on! What a beautiful woman.

So the next time you are hesitant to leave the house without a full face, just remember that there are real women behind the painted faces on TV!
