Pro Review: L’Oreal 24 Hour Lash Boosting Power System

After all the horror stories I have been hearing about certain eyelash thickening products, I have been too scared to try any more. The warned risks were growing a second row of eyelashes not just along your lash line, but also on other parts of your face. That did it for me.

Coincidently, last weekend I was given a sample of L’Oreal 24 Hour Lash Boosting Power System. I decided to face my fears and try it out for a few days and see what sort of results I get. On the up side, it is not a prescription product, that helped convinced me it was safe to use.

During the day, I used the 2-step mascara and lash boosting primer. First, applying the lash boosting primer over the lashes, then applying a coat or two of the Ultra-Lengthening Mascara Top Coat. (I am already a huge fan of L’Oreal, Voluminous Mascara, so I thought heck, why not.)

At night, I applied the Concentrated Lash Boosting Serum before going to bed.
I did not see instant results on the first morning, but by the third day, I noticed my lashes appeared thicker. The product does not promise new hair growth, which is a big relief to me. It simply helps strengthen and nourish what you naturally already have.

Now that I know what it can do for me, I will always have some in my makeup kit for my clients who need that natural lash lift and thickening.
