Did you know you could purchase a product that applies flawless looking eyeshadow on the lids for you instantly? Color On Professional, says you can.

Here’s how it works as described on the website:

PLACE
Close your eye and center oval on lash line, holding in place with index and middle finger, making a “peace sign.”

SMOOTH
Gently rub the back of the appliqué with your free index finger. Be sure to smooth over entire lid starting from the inner corner of the eye working outward and up. For a lighter application, gently tap the back of the appliqué.

PEEL

Slowly peel back the appliqué from eyelid and set aside.

BLEND
Use different fingers to gently tap and blend each color to your desired look. Use one finger for darker shade and another finger for lighter shade. Note: for avant-garde designs such as Leopard, Camouflage and Zebra, avoid blending altogether to preserve intended design.

SET
With GetSet™ Powder and brush provided, sweep the powder over entire lid and you are “all set” for gorgeous eyeshadow that will wear all day and night without creasing, smudging or the need to reapply. For naturally oily lids or water and/or sun exposure, apply heavier coating of GetSet™ Powder.

The Benefits:

These applicators require no brushes and no skill. They claim that these are waterproof, and crease proof too. Less products to weigh your makeup bag down. No mess, no makeup removers.

The Drawbacks:

No fun, in my opinion. You can’t replicate a professional flawless look just by pressing on this application product. Besides playing with your makeup, blending and creating different colors yourself, is priceless. Yes, you may get one great look, but after looking at all the other looks the application started to look alike, just different colors. I do like the more artistic looking ones, which could be fun for both the consumer and professional on special events.

The Verdict:
I wouldn’t throw out your old eyeshadows, but perhaps having some of these laying around for a special occasion or for something more dramatic maybe the ticket.
